WHY USE A BABY SLEEPING BAG?

A sleeping bag is a must-have for your baby. In fact, unlike a blanket which can slip off when your baby moves around, a sleeping bag means your baby can get to sleep more easily, staying safe and warm. Your baby is wrapped up but can still move, the covers will stay on throughout the night so there's no risk of getting cold and a sleeping bag offers comfort in their little beds which make them feel lost.

HEY PETIT BATEAU, WHAT ABOUT THE FABRIC?

All Petit Bateau sleeping bags have a 100% cotton outer. Cotton is the fabric which most allows the skin to breathe, it wicks away moisture while staying soft. The padding makes it warmer. Cotton comes in different guises for sleeping bags: velours, 1x1 rib, Petit Bateau rib knit or layered.

It's really important to choose the right sleeping bag for the temperature of your baby's bedroom so that they are kept at the right temperature. The perfect bedroom temperature is between 18 and 20°C. The TOG is an indicator of how warm the baby sleeping bag is to help you choose.
