Getting the right size
14, 16, 18 years? I don’t know my Petit Bateau size. How do I double check?
To check your size or your child’s size we recommend that you consult our size guide by going to «Guarantees and services > Choosing the right size». You can also access this info by clicking on the «Getting the right size» link on each product detail page.
My baby aged 3 months is wearing clothes for 6 month olds. I want to buy clothes for next season ahead of time but how do I gauge the right size?
Your baby should be wearing age 12 months at the beginning of next season. As a general rule of thumb buy larger than you would normally because you are buying ahead of time. Take trousers for example. Buy one size larger to ensure that your baby is totally comfy.
I would like to send my friend an item from Petit Bateau as a gift...
It’s the little details that make all the difference. For only £3.00 extra Petit Bateau will send your articles gift boxed. You can add your own message on a personalised card. All you need to do when ordering is to tick the box «Yes, I want gift boxes» then type your message in the appropriate space. There will be no indication of price sent with the gift of course. Your invoice will be sent to you by email. You can track delivery of your parcel by clicking under «My Account».

How much is delivery?
Handling and delivery costs £4.95 regardless of the number of items you have ordered.
You can choose to deliver in the United Kingdom via www.petit-bateau.co.uk; Germany via www.petit-bateau.de; Japan via www.petit-bateau.co.jp; and USA and Canada via www.petit-bateau.us.
How long does delivery take?
Your order will be delivered by «Exapaq» within a minimum of 4 days to 6 days (maximum 8 days) from the day your order confirmation email has been sent.
You can choose to have your package delivered to another address than your home address (e.g. if it’s a gift).
What are my payment options at Petit-bateau.co.uk?
We accept major credit/debit card Visa, Mastercard, Solo, Electron, Maestro and PayPal. You will be required to enter your cardholder’s name, card number, expiry date and 3 digit security number (at back of card). Payments made online at Petit-bateau.co.uk are secure.
It is also possible to make the payment via Pay Pal.
How can I be sure that making a payment online is secure?
Petit Bateau has implemented a system to guarantee secure online payment. Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption is used for every transaction. SSL encrypts data linked to payment. At no stage do your bank details enter Petit Bateau’s computer system.
Exchanging or refunding an item
How do I cancel an order ?
You have the right to cancel your order without a reason within 14 days of receiving the products, by giving us written notice. We will then refund you the total cost of your order excluding handling and delivery costs. You must return the products to us at your expense to the following address: Petit Bateau Customer Services Department - 2nd floor, 35-36 Great Marlborough Street, London W1F 7JF.
How do I get a refund for an item bought online?
Once you have received your parcel you have 14 days to claim a refund for any defective item/s. Unwashed and unworn merchandise must be returned in original packaging with a completed return form. Log into your account, click on "Your Order" and click on the "Return or Exchange items" link to print off a form. You will be refunded within 30 days of your request being received by us. The cost of returning the item/s is borne by you. Send your returns to:

How do I exchange an item bought online from Petit-Bateau.co.uk?
Exchanges can only be made in-store within 14 days of receipt of your package. To exchange an item bought online, take it to a store unworn, unwashed in its original packaging with your invoice or delivery note. The price of the new item/s must be the same or more than the article being exchanged. Any outstanding amounts can be settled by any payment method accepted by the store.
Tracking my order
How do I track my order?
It’s simple to track your order. Log onto «My Account» and go to «My Orders». You will find a summary of all orders made and the status of orders being processed (despatch date, anticipated date of delivery...). You can also opt to have free text updates regarding your order sent to you. Simply tick the box «I want to receive order status text alerts.»

How do I locate the closest Petit Bateau boutique to me?
Simply click on «Petit Bateau Boutiques», select your country and enter your town or postcode in the search box. A list of Petit Bateau shops corresponding to your criteria will appear along with opening times and addresses. You can also click on «Find the closest Petit Bateau» at the bottom of each page.
