  • This baby boys' long all-in-one with pea jacket collar is made in heavy jersey with sailor stripes. The baby garment is fully lined with cotton for a comfortable outfit for baby's first days. Note the details in a sailor spirit with the pea jacket collar and the golden anchor button at the neckline. The all-in-one has two patch pockets on the front, and a Y-shaped snap button opening for convenience. A baby boys' all-in-one unique to Petit Bateau.

A brand, a story

Where does the name come from? It's nothing to do with hosiery, Pierre Valton's original job when he founded the company in 1893. It's all down to his son Etienne, who invented underpants in 1918 and was inspired by the French nursery rhyme "Maman les p'tits bateaux" that his wife would sing to their children. And so the brand and the nursery rhyme became inextricably linked!
